Happy Thanksgiving, Y'all!

It's time once again for us all to count our blessings. I'll show you mine if you show me yours:

  • I have a local job working with people I like very much

  • I have a lovely reading audience

  • We're healthy

  • We're flea-free

  • It's not too cold yet

  • I don't have to fret too much over gas prices

  • Election year is coming

  • It's raining and I have a roof over my head

  • We found our Wallace & Gromit DVD

  • I know where my camera is

  • I don't have any homework to do

  • I have four days off

  • My neighbors are as awesome as ever

  • I've been invited to two Christmas parties

  • The kids are asleep

  • My family are recovering from great losses

  • I laugh daily (thanks to many of you)

  • Marie Osmond is in the finals

  • Doc has tomorrow and Saturday off

  • My friends are taking hardships in stride

  • I know where my keys are

What are you thankful for?

Lessee...

I went to Disney today. And there the following good things happened:

**I parked in "Sleepy", which is so close to the monorail I didn't have to transfer to a tram-- which means my sleeping Autie did not have to wake up and scream for an hour

**somehow we spent over 7 hours in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and I didn't feel like i missed anything

**thanks to my son's disability pass, we got RIGHT ON almost every ride we wanted

**I remembered to bring pennies so we could all toss coppers into the water at It's A Small World

**Iron Monkey, my son, went in to see Minnie, Pluto and Goofy and interacted with all of them!! He said, for the very first time, "soft" when petting Pluto's nose, "bye-bye" and he kissed Minnie.

**we ALSO went to see the Princess (Belle, Cinderella and Aurora-- can you say "Beautiful ladies!!" just like the Baron??) and Dharma (me daughter) was totally enthralled with them. Iron Monkey was a bit nonplussed, but he actually allowed all three of the princesses to hug him!! (ha! he's justa' shy ladies man!! Th' girls can't get enuff o' HIM!!)

**I got out just as the parade was beginning and long before the massive exodus that takes 2 hours to get to your car

**bestest? both kids were asleep when we got home and tomorow we go to Grammie an' Poppa's pad for the Big Nosh.
