I want two things out of the holiday season: I want to watch Nightmare Before Christmas and eat pizza while we put up the tree, and I want to get my Generation X-mas mix back on my iPod in time to stave off the oppressive atmosphere of forced cheer and goodwill.
If I get a chance to nip off to World Market and pick up a marzipan stollen that nobody else in the house will touch, that's a bonus.
