OK, Here's My New Geek Score

Frank thought my Geek score of 19% was a bit low and recommended I retake the quiz. I did. He was right. I hit 44% on the geekometer.

You are 44% geek
You are a geek liaison, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.

Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.

You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!

Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!

You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.

So, what makes for the difference? Did you forget a They Might Be Giants album or two? Perhaps you didn't remember a particular dinner conversation that you had which involved a 23rd level Thief/Acrobat...

Oh, I owned up to the TMBG; I probably own 5 of their albums. But you're right, I do talk to my friends about the intricate details of characters and adventures I've had in the past. Also, I forgot about using the prefix "poly". I'm guilty of that too.

I also tend to know way too much about obscure stuff.

Thanks, Frank, for keeping me honest.
